3/9/21 Frittata for Dinner
I had a bunch of veggies that had to be eaten. I sautéed them in olive oil, duck fat, and butter (More on Healthy Fats later!). Add eggs and cheese. Then put the Iron Skillet to work under the broiler! Delicious!
2/18/21 One Big Salad a Day
If I could give one piece of dietary advice to everyone it would be as simple as that: EAT ONE BIG SALAD A DAY. Put as many organic vegetables in it as you can. Use extra virgin olive oil and salt as your dressing. And dig in.
You don’t have to make it a big deal over this salad or worry too much about it. Just find fresh ingredients (that you love!), wash ‘em, chop ‘em up, and enjoy.
Salads don’t have to be boring. They don’t have to be “homework.” And they don’t have to suck! Salads can be decadent and delicious.
There is plenty of time to discuss Fats, Proteins, and Carbohydrates.
Yes, you should quit sugar.
No, fat doesn’t make you fat.
But the easiest and most powerful change you can make to your diet is to simply EAT ONE BIG SALAD A DAY!
